this is the thing that absolutely killed me. i mean, the title song to Jay-Z's double disc album is about Nas. The fukk? Surely he coulda named that song something else, or even picked one of the other 23 songs as the title track for the album. Dude was obsessed. Between this and him having dreams of Biggie giving him mad props and sucking his dikk, you just know Ether was burning his soul at that time. Its funny cause when he says "I got my mojo back" he dont even sound like he believe it himself.Make the title song for your album be about another niqqa brehs.
The first "Blueprint (Momma Loves Me)" was such a great track with Jay talking about growing up and how he fell in love with hip-hop. And he follows that up with a song about Nas. LMAO.
And im convinced Jay thought the vocal sample was a flute. Theres no other explanation

BP2 was the first Jay album I ever bought, I'll never forget when I copped it on bootleg from a store on Pikin Ave in Brownsville.
This was my favorite song on the whole album, I didn't realize the entire 2nd verse was mostly dissing Nas until years later
