In Orthodox Christianity, Hell is a separation from G-d. The hell of fire & brimstone was a Westernized Christianity concept.

So are you saying that HELL Is not an actual place? Are you saying that Jesus being led down to HELL by the archangel Michael is not really in the scriptures?

Please by all means...but Joe 2 questions....1 you do realize these people whoever links you are about to send me you do realize they can be wrong correct? And 2, as I asked you earlier...DO YOU BELIEVE THAT HELL IS AN ACTUAL PLACE OR A STATE OF DISCONNECT FROM GOD?
I will say that nobody knows for sure. So, I dislike when people say the word "wrong". I'm stuck between choosing Orthodox Christianity or Conservative or Orthodox Judaism myself. I believe hell is here on Earth and after we may have a chance to change or G-d destroys our soul and we don't join him.
P.S. I will say that Orthodox Christianity is split on this. However, I want to change I have progressed. I'd love to go into Heaven or the World To Come.

Well said and fair enough. I just think a person should be able to use a little common sense when dealing with Christianity and the church...and if youre serious about The Lord and your religion don't ever forget to include the Apocrypha in your library...these books are EYE OPENING to the point you will never see the Church the same...these books they took out of the church and if they were left in you would see a completely different world.
