Its a shame there is no talk of solutions just outlining a current issue that has nothing to do with race. I am personally on the side of using welfare as a means to grant opportunities so you no longer need federal/state assistance. Bad things happen, and welfare was never intended to be a lifelong benefit. However, like anything that involves money you have people who manipulate the rules to reap the benefits.
Corporations - take advantage of loopholes and avoid fair taxation due to wealthy lobbyists influencing the people who we voted for.
People - (foreigners, asians, latinos, blacks, whites, hindu,etc) some work under the table, unreport income so they are able to get section 8, subsidies,
tuition, etc. Some see this as a comfortable life, and do not strive to improve the situation where they no longer require it.
I hold the lawmakers accountable for not addressing the corporations. This is where the divide and conquer strategies democrats and republicans utilize kill the game. While Democrats like to keep you reliant upon them via (left wing medium, unions) as the primary source of information so you do not think for yourself, Republicans deflect by bringing up the smaller issue in order to avoid the bigger issue.
In the end, everything stays the same and no solutions take place.
