what ben carson is saying by throwing obeezy under the buss (talking about he's the reason why race relations are worse now). is this, "dont make massa mad at us"I love how they still pander to the worst elements within their own party. To me it indicates how they look out for themselves as individual politicians. Jeb Bush recognizes that he'll never win a national election by throwing bones to the racists(whether closet, in-denial, outright) in his party. In 2015, 2016, it's quite possible that he may not even win his party's primary with that kind of rhetoric. So it doesn't benefit the Republican party by gaining them crossover votes as that kind of talk won't even entice so called Reagan Democrats. What it does do though, is reinforce his own standing within certain circles of his party and borderline fringe elements within the country. After all, there's books to sell, speaking engagements, television pundit opportunities, etc.. So while the White House is completely out of reach, easy money doing what he's doing now will be readily available after he bows out.
He actually highlights what makes Ben Carson such a disgrace to me. I never had a hardcore opinion on the man prior to him running, but since then I find him to be repugnant for the same reason Bush's pandering is just business. How a respected and intelligent Black man could make comments accusing Obama (whom I'm also not a fan of) of worsening race relations in this country isn't just pandering to the same elements Bush is seeking to appeal to, but is probably also the truest definition of c00nery in a political sense. He's really seeking to gain the acceptance of white racists (again either closet, in-denial, outright) by race baiting using Obama. I don't for a second believe he thinks Obama has worsened race relations by his statements or actions. If anything him being elected has these whites hot under the collar, and anything after that is just residual hate, collateral even. That said, Carson simply panders for self gain with no fukks given. He's a despicable individual for that.
he's one of those type of black people. he would rather deal with undercover quiet as kept, racism that hurting his people. then deal with it out in the open for what it truly is and for all to see. This line of thinking hinders the future generations coming up. if they grow up seeing black people say "dont make massa mad". They will grow up with that very same mentality. if they grow up seeing someone calling out racism white supremacy for what it is. They will grow up knowing/understand what this game is all about. and they can atleast work out their issues accordingly.
