I believe it. Seen Jeezy walking down the street during the all star weekend some years back. I was bigger than him in 4th grade, might be 5 1 with shoes on. Borderline midget. He can survive off of cookies and chips

I used to live off potatoes, frozen veggies, chicken breasts, and onions in college. Together that was about $20 and would last a couple weeks.

Whenever my girl is out of town I'll whip up some cheap meals. Lately I've been trying this: can of chickpeas, onions, garlic, ginger, broccoli. Season and then sauté the chickpeas and onions, add your broccoli, then add the garlic and ginger towards the end so it doesn't burn. You can throw in a tuna packet for protein. Less than $10 meal even today with inflation.

Moreso we just cook a more complex/balanced dinner when we're both here - main dish, sides, wine, etc. Whereas if I'm solo I'm just doing something that's all in one pot or pan, super simple and quick.

I did that as an experiment for like 6 months...not $2 but I set my food budget just for my own food at $100 a week. 2 big ass packs of chicken breasts, 2 big ass packs of chicken thighs, big sac of rice, bunch of brocolli and okra, like 10 gallons of water and like a dozen bananas. Ate like that pretty much the whole time, never went over $100 a week, was always around $80-90. The amount of money I saved was mind altering. Budgeting can/will change your life, believe me...even if you're up up, budget anyway so you can stay up up
I feel like $100 is really reachable too, I’m 23 so I’m about to start living on my own. I was thinking in my head that I shouldn’t spend more than $400 a month of groceries. I was thinking $300 at my best at groceries, and the rest for when I want to eat out
