best summary of this album

i've come to the realization JEEZY PRODUCTION LACKS SOUL!!!

that's what made TM101...and even the INSPIRATION so great was the SOUL reflected in tracks by Shawty Redd and Toomp....

it lacks that charismatic energy ....that we heard in songs like:

This. shyt is gentrified trap music. Jeezy is an artist where he allows the production to carry him and he compliments it. If the production is trash, then the music is trash.

No one who became a fan of jeezy during the SIW, TOD, TM101, and CBTSM days can vouch for this abomination. :hhh:

Jeezy repeatedly told everyone on his press run that he isn't trying to be the best emcee he's trying to inspire and be motivational, yet, people want to judge him on the same scale as a Kendrick Lamar, Lupe or J.Cole. This seems like one of those albums that won't be appreciated by the masses right away.

Rap brehs gotta stop having that old mindset when it come to Makin albums... "Turn up song, one for the bytches, street shyt, etc..."

If he woulda took a mixtape approach and fed us all tracks like Valet/American Dream we might b discussing a classic

EDIT: Pressure too^^

I'm Hard Like D-Block Readin The Book Of Enoch...
to me this shyt twas Jeezy's best piece of work since TM103,Seen It All had a few decent joints and everything after that been blah, this one has some dope shyt, but i agree dude needs/misses Shawty Redd production, but also i miss when Don Cannon(does dude produce for anyone right now..?) did beats for dude..this one had some guests that i didn't think i'd feel like Kodak Black,2 Chainz,Tory Lanez,Ross but they actually all did their thing,i don't know if it'll have big replay value cause mad shyt done dropped this holi daze season, but i liked it far more then i thought, and i agree, that Valet interlude just catches you off guard..

one random thought i had is i'd really like to hear East Coast cats like Rae&Ghostface(Jeezy over Wu beats would be sick i imagine)or some Dipset Heatmakerz type shyt/collabs..in my mind it potentially sounds dope, who knows..:patrice::manny:
