Affiliations initiated it but you can’t get that love on affiliation alone. Jeezy been showing the D love consistently since the beginning. Plus his music always resonated with the city. I can remember when “Welcome Back” dropped. Just him saying “What’s Happenin, What up doe” was love. Not many if any artists outside the city was even saying that at the time.

Jeezy always showed respect and paid homage. He respected the city because when he first got to the city BMF made sure he was around some real ones.
