:stopitslime:Nah. This ain’t it. Jeezy is not the person to even attempt to pull this off. It’s like a very very bad imitation of the Soul Tape series and he’s so offbeat that it isn’t even funny.

:gucci:And if you think this is good, yeah I will never value your musical opinion.

A Payroll Giovanni type album is definitely more of what he should have done if he wanted to sound “mature but street,” because this is absolute 🗑️

It’s just grown up shyt. Jeezy is a long way from that trap or die guy. He should be dropping songs like this with these beats lol
I get what you're trying to say. But he literally just dropped "I might forgive but I don't forget" and it literally was trap or die Jeezy. I bet he won't play any of these new songs at that residency lol

I do, but this was so left field and random that I didn't think this was real at first when I hit play. It sounds like a blend mixtape

I hear you lol. I mean I think he just put it out there to try something different and I can dig it. People will only call him :flabbynsick: if he keeps trying to be the old Jeezy. He might as well lean into his Jay Jenkins era :russ::yeshrug:

It's rappers like Ghostface, Hus Kingpin, etc, that have rapped on numerous old school R&B and Soul tracks and shyt was dope.

This shyt wack. Because Jeezy doesn't know how to flow on the tracks, the cadence he decides to use clashes with it, Jeezy doesn't have the ability to switch flows.

Don't come in here acting like anyone that don't like this gotta be a teenager and not into R&B/Soul.

Imma 80s baby from the gawt damm foundation of Jazz music (Louisiana) and Blues (Mississippi).

My whole life was classic Black Music. My pops and uncles owned a club in the 70s into the 90s and I stayed surrounded with the music. :blessed:

Ain't nothing wrong if you like this.
shyt hot garbage to me tho.

Four tracks in and I actually like it. So far my favorite is “Treason”

I was definitely expecting some trappin big bass shyt, especially with Drama hosting but this tape is chill, something you can play while sipping bourbon after golf. Gonna check the rest of it later.
