His best album hands down. The most balance he ever had between Flare (Snowman/Mr. 17.5) VS. Substance (Pastor Young or w/e he was tryna be two albums ago).

This is where he peaked IMO. Everything since...

This was his peak.

The only album I really fukked with him

Whats yall overall opinion on it?

spawned a couple classic tracks

wasn’t as good as the first two so it got shat on

going through the track list — the hooks and production were stronger than the verses

The Recession intro through Crazy World was great

Amazin
Vacation
Put On
Get Allot
My President

Overall not nearly as good as Trap or Die, TM101, Can't Ban Snowman, I Am The Street Dream, or The Inspiration

Those 5 albums and mixtapes were incredible (esp for their time), and 2008 was the start of a decline for Jeezy

Translator and Prime Minister from his mixtape before Recession came out were bangers

Didn't help Jeezy that the summer of 2008 was without a doubt Gucci's (and OJ), culminating in the much better Gucci Gangsta Grillz The Movie (which undermined Jeezy)

I think that was also the start of J Money Trapper of the Year -> the futuristic movement

Along with a slew of other new/young names from Atlanta
