Rams fired coach Jeff Fisher.
In a cruel, ironic twist for the NFL's pre-eminent loser, the firing comes three days before he was set to pass Dan Reeves for the most coaching losses in league history. Fisher is so inept he can't even claim the record that's been his destiny for over a decade. The firing is perhaps the most justified of the modern era. Fisher has had five years to turn around a laughingstock franchise, but instead made it an even bigger joke. Fisher's team had truly made zero progress on his first year in 2012. A wanton waster of draft picks and capital, Fisher is clueless on Sundays, fundamentally misunderstanding offense and overseeing a cavalcade of idiotic penalties. Fisher doesn't make adjustments, aside from usually dialing up more personal fouls in the second half. Try as he may, he never came close to "cleaning up" his chronic, myriad, inexcusable mistakes. i see. the chip kelly effect was in play... im sure 49ers will rattle of a couple wins to make sure Chip has a job with his shotgun every play even on 4th and 1 azz offense

I could see him going to the college scene, making a run at some school and getting ANOTHER chance at the NFL level. they will tout his experience blah blah blah and then rationalize it. He could fit in with the Browns
not to mentiin he's an overall shytty coach...chased Vince Young out tha league and dont forget before STEVE. MCNAIR (RIP) went to the Ravens it was bc he showed up to Titans practice and was not allowed on premises
Steve Mcnair, the guy who CARRIED fisher to his only Super Bowl, not allowed on Titans/Oilers property. let that sink in

Honestly I bet the extension was a ruse due to the relationship between Fisher's agent and the Rams front office. I'm sure they had a backroom deal to create an "extension" and re-write the contact so the buyout took care of Fisher (and his agent) before letting him walk
