I for one minute don't believe he was fired. He quit. He didn't want to take the loss record. Rams ownership didn't care about his below average 7-9 ways, makes 0 sense to fire him now with 3 games left.

I think Fischer is done in the NFL as a coach. His name will be kryptonite. No (smart) NFL organization will want to have "the most losing coach in NFL history" associated or affiliated with that, especially a losing one.
