It's like the man couldn't keep the country bumpkin mask on anymore and had to come to terms that he was born and raised in SoCal :russ:

He done trolled his way out of being on the hot seat :wow:

Don't let Jameis slip to the Rams... The fukkery next year :wow:

:ohhh: you learn something new everyday. Didnt know he was from SoCal

It all makes sense now, he's protocol Hollywood image of a football coach out of Central Casting. :ohhh:

Not a fan of his but the last 2 weeks he is the hottest thing going in the league...

St Louis is a QB away from being a REAL problem in the league with or without Fisher...

Your favorite coach isn't nearly intelligent enough to even pull that troll job that Fisher did...

Your favorite coach would have told the players not to do the hand's up sign...

shyt your favorite coach probably DID tell his players not to do the hands up sign...

Since only Jeff Fischer players did it

Aint no way in hell this dude aint fukking some hoodrats on the side...

I agree to this thread- even the Cowher parts...

Now Bill Cowher was a good coach, dont get me wrong- but the way they talk about him in pgh is like dude was a young Lombardi. And now people want to try and get rid of Tomlin? Who is actually just as successful as Cowher in an even shorter amount of time? Fortunately the Rooney's are patient and not racists so Mikey will be here for awhile...

The thing is, other GMs an owners find it easier to present to the fans that old school white football coach. Makes them automatically think that the team is really organized and disciplined (even when its not the case)

Mustache? :obama:
Mean scowl?:smugbiden:
White?:steviej:
Greying hair?:win:
Not fat but not really in shape?:krs:

You show me this person, and I will show you a coach 75% of the league would hire on the spot...
The funny thing about Jeff Fischer is that he looks like and sounds like a southern redneck so immediately other hillbillies and "small town" Americans identify with him, but he is from Los Angeles. Born and raised. He probably takes off that stache at night, slicks back his hair, sprays on a tan and slips off into the night unnoticed.

Uncertain grounds
he was a yard away from that super bowl though against a very good team

plus hes the trick play master. hes been trolling teams since the music city miracle on that shyt. if he wasnt such a troll the seahawks would be in first place in the west right now

hate him all u want but hes done a very good job with the rams..he's 6-7 this year and has been hovering around .500 in a tough division and without a QB or skill position players really (until some players emerged the past few weeks)

From what I understood, that was an upper level management decision. Jeff wanted to keep him at the very least to be a mentor to VY :yeshrug:

And let's be real here, Steve looked bad that last season with the Titans.
Bullshyt!!!!!

Mcnair, IIRC, had no real receivers with the Titans and Eddie George was gone at that point, thanks to your boy Fisher.

Look breh. I'm a huge Titans fans and I thought Fisher was an overrated coach who was truly exposed when McNair left, so you can cut that "your boy" shyt out. The Titans issues however, came directly from bad ownership and an ineffective general manager.

The Titans in the early 2000's were dominant largely because upper level management had a win right now mentality. You had several players that were getting paid way above their market value because Nashville isn't exactly a hot spot for free agents so to keep their players the Titans had to overpay them. Easy on the wallet for the front end, not so much on the back end. Well that methodology is only good in the short term and the Titans went through extensive cap hell to the point they had to let players like a declining Eddie George go. This screwed the Titans in that 04-05 time span. But as a FAN I can say McNair was on the decline as well, and it showed in 05. He never had great receivers throughout his career (that's on the GM) and he still at one point to me looked like the best QB in the league, he simply wasn't the same guy anymore and our FO made a judgement call as the Titans at this point are still in cap hell. He had a good regular season in Baltimore and after that he went in the tank.

You'll be hard pressed to find any evidence of Fisher speaking out against McNair, on the flip side there is stuff everywhere of him doing so to VY. Coincidence? I think not.

I don't blame Fisher for anything in the McNair era, that's our front office making the calls, he was just ultimately a mediocre coach that would later be exposed as such when he did get control over personnel, but clowns always want to make it a racial issue.

Fair point, but the Titans always had front office problems, even when they were still in Houston as the Oilers. That "win-now" mentality was already established back in 1993 after they choked against Buffalo in the playoffs and then brought in Buddy Ryan to help out the defense during the offseason. Never mind the fact that the contracts of Warren Moon, Sean Jones, and William Fuller were up and the front office decided to give Cody Carlson, of all people, a 3-year deal and screwed up the salary cap in the process.
