You can ironically say Larry Bird was the first "Jokic Prototype"

People don't realize Larry was 7 ft tall along with being an elite playmaker and rebounder
surprised me when I met him, I'm 6'8" 1/2 and he was a legit 2 inches taller than me, crazy.

And low key an elite defender despite what people try to push as him being just this offensive guy with no athleticism that constantly got burned, that was not the case at all.

If we digging in the crates I’d go George Mikan….also First prototype is a redundancy that hurts my ears

Cane back from retirement 5 years later, played 13 games and injured his Achilles OUTSIDE of TD Garden due to a clumsy Celtics fan :skip:

Sounds like the woat trade :mjlol:
This is literally the first thing I can remember my dad being mad about. This should have let me know what this Sixers fan shyt was about but I'm a lifer, still hanging in there 🤣😂🤣

We've seen centers that have been great post passers before. We've never seen someone like Jokic and with his built initiate offense for 48 minutes from beforr the half court, shoot 3s and fadeaway at a high percentage and have his shooting mechanics, a high release junpshot for a 7 footer which is unguardable. His only weakness is that he's slow footed.

Don’t think Ruland was a Jokic prototype at all, but he was a great talent.

Bill Walton was closer to what Jokic is, and that’s not even close.
