You’re simple if you think Garland or frankly any establishment man is going out of their way to protect Clinton or Dem donors.
Dems didnt pursue it because they’ve always been willing to protect nat’l security establishment. It’s part of their whole “we’re different from/more “responsible” than the GOP schtick. It’s the whole “we shouldn’t politicize ______” even if it’s politically advantageous.
