Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allâh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allâh and to their husbands), and guard in the husband's absence what Allâh orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband's property, etc.). As to those women on whose part you see illconduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allâh is Ever Most High, Most Great. (An-Nisa 4:34)
***So yes, Allah tells us (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful). Allah is Perfect, and we are not even comparable to Him, so who are we to question what He Tells us?

Gods? That's how you know your wrong to begin with. There is only One True God. Allah translates into English as the One True God. Allah is the One True God of all of Mankind, and all that exists.
Honestly though, you should seriously watch this video.
I got caught up one time and didn't want to be rude and interrupt them. They were nice but nah, never again. Felt like I was standing out there for hours

I've never had a problem with them. I actually appreciate them trying to spread their and live their teachings than most Christians. Whenever they come by I take their literature and tell them I'm not interested.

The Racist History of Watchtower LiteratureA lot of Witnesses want to be at your door as much as you want them to be there.
It's a high control cult that shuns those who disassociate or who are disfellowshipped, with children who are indoctrinated at an early age, so many members suffer in silence because they don't want to tear apart their families or friendships.
The whole questioning thing is actually part of predesigned presentations that are sent from headquarters in New York. They are instructed to use those presentations for their literature.
If you tell them you are not interested, generally they will leave you alone. There is no reason to be discorteous or belligerent. You might still get a visit every few months or so because they have cities divided up into territories that they preach in at least once a year, so any time the territory you live in is being used, you can expect a visit.
But it's pointless, and actually petty, to antagonize JWs for coming to your door. They're only ever coming for one of two reasons...1. They believe and want to save your life. 2. They don't believe and are being pressured into it by family or friends.
Change your username, you don't deserve it.

Who are you to tell me shyt about anything?
I was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and I know that what one of their crackpot leaders said in the early 1900's doesn't really mean shyt to them today...and hasn't for decades.
Even since 1919, "the light has gotten brighter" and they've abandoned and retooled a lot of their doctrines and beliefs.
No. But I was one for some time and I have family members who are.
Managed to fade without getting disfellowshipped, which is the only reason I can keep in contact with them, but even that's limited now.
Although I don't really like talking about my personal history with the religion because I would get labeled "apostate" and that's a trigger word for Jehovah's Witnesses to instantly disregard anything you say as twisted or satanic. I don't really blame them though, because that's all a part of the indoctrination.
My mother has like 13 siblings and all 7 of the women, including my grandmother are Witnesses. My sister and I were forced to go to the Kingdom Hall until just before junior high....it was at that point that we both realized how much bullshyt it was and never paid attention during services. I love my mom to death as she realized we were not interested at that point and allowed us to walk away before junior high. I think she had us go earlier just to help instill some righteousness in us and to get us not to get caught up in the stupid crap the other parentless kids were doing. Even though my pops never believed in that church and never went, he agreed with the general doctrine when it came to raising us. I think it worked, honestly, and we both came out okay. I loved how my folks' differences in religious beliefs never, ever affected their marriage. So, even though I don't believe in their ways at all, I credit them for helping at least two kids in growing to adulthood and becoming decent folk...
They've always been respectful in the interactions I had with them and only came to my house once when I was on the way out the door.
