The idea that you goin pay Peterson more money than Murray while Peterson’s more older and has been away from football in a year is just bad management. Murray got 1800 yards. How many more yards can Peterson get younthat justify paying him significantly more than murray cuz Peterson’s not taking a paycut and he be a fool if he did on the eve of turning 30.

Give murray 6 mill a year. I really enjoyed the Cowboys brand of football this season. We tried the running back by committee thing and have had mild success.

I don't mind 6 million a year just as long as it's a 4 year contract. If it's anything more, it will, after a couple years, be a BAD contract. He will not rush for 1800 yards next season and probably won't have over 300 carries next season either.

You got your exceptions like Emmit and dikkerson but more often than not guys fall off a cliff after years like that. He was clearly their MVP and it's most definitely fukked up but we gotta be real...the chances of him doing what he did this season again are extremely slim. You sign him to a big deal and you are rolling some major dice based on the history of the position as well as his own injury history.

I question your reading comprehension. You stay misinterpreting the points that cowboys fans in this forum are trying to make.

Boy i been watching the Cowboys since 98. Im fukking almost 30. I witness the hambrick transition from spell back to starter and i remember what ppl was saying when he was spelling emmitt in his final season. Hambrick had a great ypc average in his backup duties just like randle does and ppl were calling for him to get more carries and when he did get more carries in then role as a starter he failed miserably. Randle has the benefit of running against a usually exhausted defense after murray dine worn them down.

And who brought up anything about dunbar being a main back. My point was all about my doubts about our running game being as sucessful with them two spearheading the running back by committee as opposed to to Murray being the feature back in our offense again.

Point black, I prefer Murray back at a good deal. Our offensive line may be godly but I'm skeptical at the idea that you can just plug any running back in their and get similar results to Murray's output, let alone better results.
