I grew up in an ass whuppin household and this is the way it was in my house, so im really not opposed to what Jemele said.

But I have 4 kids, 2 adult sons, and my girls are 17 and 7 . I've never had to beat ANY of my kids and they're really great kids. Responsible, honest, trustworthy, and dependable.That beating shyt is trash, and it had to stop with mine. If u have a REAL relationship with your kids you can TALK to them. Don't forget who you were when you were that age and how crazy it was to have one of your parents beat u with a belt or put hands on you. Its crazy that this has been standard practice for so long.

I heard about her firing up one of her daughters with punches. The oldest who lives between me and my mother's house since turning 18. The girl is scared of her so I know she didn't have to do any of that to discipline her.
