People need to stop taking Skip so seriously. He's playing a character on TV. The whole point of that character is to have an impact. If he was just some mild mannered guy on TV nobody would watch. His constant criticism of LeBron James for example is just an act. I watch the guy for the shock value of what he'll say next but I don't take it too serious.

I remember hearing Colin Cowherd say on ESPN on time that he likes the hate mail more than fan mail, because hate mail means you care more, and in his line of work, the one thing you can't be is irrelevant; you have to move the meter one way or another.
