Given the nature of what football players do I mean it doesn't hurt if they see you in the gym and staying in shape. Not saying it makes him better at his job but it would lend to more credibility. I mean how many people shat on ex-Lions coach Matt Patricia on this site cause he was out of shape? Dude was making demands of his players he couldn't even dream of attempting.
