Levar did a good job but the first episode he was extremely nervous and it was noticeable. He got better throughout the week and I think he would make a fine host. The executive producer of the show naming himself was just typical white privileged behavior.

They’d rather hire one of their own and watch the show fail than to ever give a black man an opportunity to take over something. Happens all the time in every industry.

luckily he was able to get out of it. he was offered a Star Trek spinoff
about Geordi La Forge in a prequel to The Next Generation. he was
supposed to play his father and his younger self using CGI but that
got squashed by his haters who didn't want to see him star in his own
Trek show so they threw this at him and then took that away too.

I love Levar Burton but he honestly wasn't that good. He would be nervous at some points, too exited at others, and he'd fukk up clues and answers and confuse the contestants as to which ones they got right.

The only other host I saw was Mayin Bialik, who was a natural.
