No, not when takes away from the other.

Ppl r literally playing "Black Liberation" on easy mode whilst browbeatin non blacks about wearing braids and worrying about why the new Spiderman movie lead be black on Twitter.

Meanwhile them same folk r trivializung real issue they could actually work toward.

Some of these #BLM think we dont need to buy black and just march the soles off our feet to fit into "White Supremist America."

Meanwhile we're arguing over their being more black women or black men and all this trivial mess.

Jeremy Lin, cool, wear braids. They're locking black men up for the same stuff white men get probation for.

You see hiw off balance the weight is for those two issues?
unless you can name people in this thread who are doing that :camby:

And I don't even care he rocking them. Just the whole mindset when people don't wanna discuss the goto phrase " don't you have something more important to do" as if multiple things can't get done. Know one who is really about change is spending all their energy on Jeremy Lin

Im tired of this term, "woke," & "problematic."

Its waaaayyyy too trendy to complain on the internet. With repetitive terms and everything.

I bet you think us as black folk r okay to "appropiate" from African countries without giving proper respect

Let ol boy live we got bigger fish to fry

I just saw some shyt on my tumblr feed some Africans going off about AA's and how they are just like white people and how much we appropriate their culture trying to get in touch with our "roots".

1. You quoted me, breh, first, don't :camby: me.

I acknowledge this wasn't about one poster and bigger than Jeremy Lin--and I quoted someone else who did it (not you) in this.

You don't agree :kanye:

My point is; wear a dashiki, black folk, cool

but, understand what that actually means, same way we want Kim K to understand the struggles black women go through with their head when she rocks straight backs (cornrows)

Don't be out here in a fitted and Jordans, call yourself woke and treating a dashiki like a jersey

I will never for the life of me understand black folk who get butt hurt and other races wearing corn rows or their faux-dread locks. Who gives a shyt god damn.
There was a major scandal at my college this spring after this white kid posted in a fb group asking where he could get cornrows..

It was mostly white and Asian girls leading the charge about cultural appropriation. I was like, go get those cornrows breh, that way I'll know you're a lame with no confusion
