:mjlol: they probably didn't mean it in a racist way. It was more than likely trash talk

For instance I knew folks that would call our friends who had Muslim names "hamas" as a joke back in the day. They didn't mean nothing serious by it. It was just fun trash talk.

Nah you can't let shyt like that fly.

The Wuhan virus/Wuhan flu was its original name when the Chinese government started putting pressure on the WHO and gave the virus an official name the media followed suit and then saying Wuhan virus became as bad as calling Bruce Jenner his birth name.

Twitter attacked me when I said it was exactly the same as the Ebola virus naming convention but then I was surprised some overly politically correct coli brehs came at me comparing the term to Thug :mjlol:.

No calling an Asian dude Coronavirus is the equivalent of Thug not naming a virus after a city it came from.

Yes I remember when CNN anchors called it the Wuhan Coronavirus. It was only after Trump started doing it that it became a problem. Yet somehow calling a human being Coronavirus is okay, let the Coli tell it. No subtlety, just blatant with the bullshyt. It's much better to just say, "so what" than try to justify and Juelz around it.

I view this as more of trash talk. I knew athletes whose demeanor totally changed when they were playing a game.

Edit: Thinking about it more and reading the article, If non-black players were calling us “Ebola” it would be an issue immediately. While i believe that trash talk is an essential part of the game, he does have the right to check people on calling him that or asking for it to stop.

Interesting how a lot of you guys start sounding like White people when they attempt to downplay racism.

I didn't have a problem with Trump calling it the China virus other than it not being a wise geopolitical move. It was just him nicknaming it because all he's good at is coming up with nifty little nicknames. If there was a strategy behind him doing it I wouldn't have had an issue.

What’s with this push lately to make Asian suffering a thing lately? Stop Asian hate hash tags and shyt what the fukk is going on? Old lady getting stomped out is terrible. Her being Asian doesn’t make it more egregious. Is this coronavirus related?

FACTS, what have Asians actually done for Black Americans?

Muhammad Ali refused to go to war with the Vietnamese.

MLK wrote that letter bigging up Asians.

And the Buffalo Soldiers helped the people in the Philippines.

Are they supposed to do something for black people? If so why and what?

Black ppl can't be racist. Racism isn't calling people names. Racism is systemic and we don't even have a system whereby we could practice racism even if we wanted to

They don't have to, but we shouldn't have to. These documentaries and YouTube videos coming out making it seem like we're or supposed to be allies when that isn't the case.
