Ivy's don't offer "Full athletic scholarships", but they pay student athletes way by redefining the scholarship. They just call it something else. My QB in high school went to Harvard to play football and he definitely didn't have "Harvard grades", But he went there on a "Academic Scholarship." Not saying Lin didn't deserve to go to Harvard or anything... Just offering another perspective to the discussion. You definitely need better grades to play sports at Ivys as opposed to other schools though... I was recruited by Colgate and they said there no scholarships, but they find other ways to pay the student athletes way through the school if they cannot afford. So it is basically a athletic scholarship, but they can't call it that...
