Common sense and logic would tell you this but this is the great and almighty Kobe who many on this board have anointed as the second coming. According to many posters here he makes those around him infinitely better. To me it seems like Shaq and Gasol made him better.

Also who on the Bulls last year would you have taken over Kobe. Boozer? Dunleavy? DJ? kirk? Snell?

Kobe is supposed to have this winning mentality where he wanted more championships then Jordan. What happened to that drive. Where is that championship mentality. Instead of helping the team he's hurting them.

ignore the fact when kobe is off the floor the other teams starters are off the floor and the game is so out of reach the other team has stoppd playing, brehs

kobe's team is trash, but he could obviously pass more. i don't have an issue with him taking 30 shots if he can get 30 high percentage looks. last night he probably took 8-10 terrible shots and that's unacceptable

This theory that Kobe can't adapt has been debunked on plenty of occasions. Remember that stretch he was averaging 8 assist over 12 games? Remember how he played with Pau/Odom. They always got theirs and Kobe was more than willing to pass to them. Remember when Kobe shot wouldnt fall in game 7 of the finals...15 rebounds. This year Kobe has shot a better percentage than the starting lineup in more than half of the games this year. He also less TO prone. If you honestly believe these Lakers would be better without Kobe I have nothing to tell you.
