The ballhog narrative fits -

Everyone here has averaged at least 6 assists per game in their career, Melo's career high is 4.2apg :mjlol: He's had the ball just as much as these guys, Kobe got called a ball hog all throughout his career and he's a better and more willing passer than Melo which is pure comedy. One of the highest usage rates in history, he's a ball hog or a shytty passer, there's no other excuse.

Playmaking has never been his strong suit. He's a decent passer. And has shown this year he can do it spurts.:manny:

He's pretty close to KD in that department breh... one if the guys u mentioned

So why build a team around a ballhog? Passing in spurts :dead:

Yeach, except for the fact that KD has a lower usage rate, been in the league less years and has averaged 5 or more apg twice :mjlol:

The usage rate difference is less than 1 if I remember right? KD is not a natural playmaker just like Melo breh. He's made an effort in recent years tho.

They are textbook scorers.

Anyways, Carmelo is a pure scorer. Who would boost any offense & he rebounds at a pretty high rate.

Build a team around him? You can. Build an offense. Damn rite.

There's a reason he's the leading scorer on the olympic squads. He can score within any offense or with any teammate. A ball hog case would be more fitting for a player like Westbrook.

KD is a willing passer that won't completely grind your an offense to a hault, Melo was 2nd in the league this year with isolation plays, he's an isolation scorer that doesn't work his teammates into it. He's been in the league 13 years now and has never once averaged 5.0apg, that is such a low target for a dude that has the ball as much as him.

How is Russ a more of a ball hog than Melo :wtf: he'll pass, does he shot jack at times of course, but he will set up teammates for a score. Melo doesn't set up anyone but himself, he passes only when the shot isn't there for him.

Since the melo trade Denver has a better overall record than the Knicks.

The Knicks have no draft picks this year.

By the time Porginzis can potentially be an all star Melo will be way over the hill.

He was counting Jeremy Lin's money, was jealous of the attention. Since he left the Knicks Lin has been in more playoff games and is a crucial part of the hornets success now. Melo on the other hand is home yet again not competing in the playoffs. The "superstar" could not even get the Knicks into that 8th seed in the EAST.

It's time to stop caping for dude. He just doesn't have it to be the main guy anymore and people really need to move on. He will be a good player to compliment a superstar that will only feed him from time to time.

:russ: At u putting the bold to sell your argument. The fact that the Knicks have no picks is not melos fault. Stupid ass grunwald traded for Bargarbage. Get off lins dikk dude. He's been off the squad for like 4 years :martin:

Take a look at how Melo gets his shots in the offense breh

He doesn't need to set up and he's not asked to. He's a efficient tough shot maker who creates offense from nothing. He's not selfish with the ball. It doesn't stick with him long.

His moves are done in a few seconds, doesn't waste clock and never over dribbles.

The reason I mentioned westbrook is because in addition to his high usage rate (more than KD ) he actually over dribbles and forces shots and drives. A large amount of his assists are last second shot clock kicks, add in his generous turnover rate and he does look like a ballhog. u feel me?:manny:
