One of the first White dudes that I remember that played the game with swag.
Really wish he didn’t get hurt late in the 2007 season because he could’ve come through big time in the playoffs on the way to the Super Bowl.
But yes, his early years probably weren’t what they could’ve been because the Giants offense was trying to figure it out besides Tiki getting runs and dump passes.

He was immature, and teams were better WITHOUT him. Giants AND Saints won rings with him on the roster but not playing/inactive.

Him running over the defender created a hype machine that ultimately got to his head. Stupid penalties for celebrations, dumb post game comments, and for the all the "winning tradition talk".....Giants lost Tiki, Shockey got sidelined during the year and they won the ring.....addition by subtraction.
Not a coincidence that Saints won without him, also. [EDIT:he played in Saints Superbowl]

This site giving Twitter a run for their money with their horrible takes, you can tell who checks Box Scores and who watches the actual games. Gronk wasn’t just a pass catcher(greatest at that) he was also the 6th lineman and arguably the best ever blocking Tight End. That’s an underrated aspect of his game.
