Ok, internet crashed last time I started to write this. Here’s round 2.
I couldn’t find much about what happened on the first Jericho cruise before I went on the second. Just wanted to give you guys some insight to what happens on the cruise. First off, there were alot of sterotypical wrestling fans. (The ones that lives in ther mom's basement). There was one that looked like a mix between Kevin Owens and Mick Foley. I felt bad for him because he wore some old shoes that were falling apart from the sides.

I'm a little

but there were some that were

X100. The majority of the people were regular people from different races. There weren't alot of single females on the cruise. Most of the cute girls, were of course taken. There were kids, but not enough to really notice them. They were suprrisngly calm compared to the kids on a Carnival cruise i went on a long time ago.
-Music: It’s a rock ‘n roll cruise. The bands were either metal or rock. I never listen to Fozzy, so when I saw them perform, it was dope because everyone was loving them. I was actually surprised that a lot of people knew the words to their songs and people were hyped. I became such of fan of the song Judas, I added that to my gym playlist when I got back. There was a Queen cover band called the Killer Queens. On the second night they performed at one of the lounges and it was 100% Lit. The room was packed and everyone was singing. Whole bunch of wrestlers were out there too watching it. IF you wanted to hear any kind of rap music, you had to go to karaoke. It was probably the livest karaoke I’ve ever seen. Absolutely no slow songs. People actually got booed if they tried to sing slow country songs. They had a wireless mic too so you would perform on the dance floor in the middle of everyone on the floor. Pretty Dope.
Wrestling: They had wrestling all 4 nights of the cruise. About 3 hours every night. Outside of dynamite, it was your typical house-show type matches with a lot of comedy. Hangman wrestled Kazarian on the last night and had a drinking contest before their match lol. Jurassic Express SCU, Private Party, Darby Allen, Brit Baker, QT Marshall, Joey Janella, Kip Sabian, Hangman, and Jon Moxley wrestled every night. Kenny and Nyla, and Penelope wrestled three nights. Bucks, Jericho, Cody, Rhio Lesnar, and Pac wrestled one night. Everyone else wrestled at least twice. Everyone was over with the exception of Kip and Brit Baker. QT and Joey jobbed out every night. I’ve seen MJF manage people on the indies. He’s a better manager than wrestler by far. Whenever him or Britt wrestled, that was my cue to go get a drink. They absolutely hated Kip for some reason. As for Brit, it was like if no one cared. Nyla and Darby were over huge. Aubrey was over big too. I was surprised how much they liked her. Pac got sick on day 2. I was told he came out of his room to wrestle on Dynamite, and to do his autograph sessions. That was it. He definitely looked like a miserable b*stard during the autograph sessions. Moxley no-sold the eye injury the first night, wore the bandage on the second night, and an eyepatch the last two nights. Kenny and Rhio wrestled Kip and Penelope. Rhio suplexed Kip and I tried to start a Rhio Lesnar chant going. I failed. LOL. They did not pull any punches in that match. Kenny even gave Penelope a dragon suplex. The guy who dresses up as Jesus was on the cruise. FYI, he always gets front row seats, because he has a relative that has ADA needs. He gets to escort his relative near the front. Also, it was windy all 4 nights and had rain showers on a couple of nights. Tony Khan was also there. Cody brought him out on the last night. He gave a quick emotional speech thanking everybody, talent and the fans, and they want to do this every year.
Podcasts: They had multiple live podcast. There were about 4 Talk is Jericho shows. One was about the NOW and they had Hall, Bischoff, DDP, and Booker T. The only thing of note was when Booker was talking about how he use to wrestle Chris and instead of planning matches, they would just go out to the ring and perform “Shakespeare” and improvise. Booker on Backstage this week, briefly mentioned that him and “Chris” used to go out and perform Shakespeare. I’m sure WWE thought he was talking about Christian but he meant Jericho. Bischoff and Booker also did their podcasts. There was a live Wrestling Observer podcast. After their show, I asked Bryan Alverez why doesn’t Rhio wrestle more. He said it’s probably due to the fact that she still lives in Japan and it’s expensive to fly her out every week. I told her how my friends (you guys) call her Rhio Lesnar because she rarely wrestles. He laughed after I brought up how she didn’t wrestle on Dynamite even when she’s on the cruise. He laughed and said true. He said most likely she’ll wrestle more once AEW Thunder debuts. LOL. Vicki Guerrero had a podcast with the women of AEW (Nyla, Penelope, Britt, Allie, Aubrey). Aubrey used to be a videogame designer before joining AEW. The female ref from WWE actually got her a tryout. Obviously, she didn’t get it. Allie stated that she would rather manage the Blade and the Butcher than wrestle on AEW. Britt hates it when people bring up Adam Cole to her. She finds it disrespectful. I think there is heat between Nyla and Britt because they were some snarky comments between the two. Definitely don’t think they are friends.
Live shows (variety) – MVP had a one-man show. It was pretty good. It was about his life and the events leading to him going to jail. It spent about 7 minutes on his road to WWE. Jake Roberts had a live standup set. He wasn’t bad. Funny at points. Bruce Jingles performed. The first time, he was drunk. While it was funny at parts, he messed up his delivery because he was drunk. Gabriel Iglesias was pretty funny as expected.
Wrestler interaction- Each person on the cruise had access to 2 AEW and 2 Legend Photo ops. The legends were Hall, DDP, Booker, and Jake Roberts. Pretty much you hopped in the line of the person you wanted to meet the most. When your done, if there is still time, you can hop and get a photo with someone else. MJF was hilarious, because he no sold everyone’s picture. He either flicked people off or paid them no attention. Some of the things he did was spit in someone’s coffee, tossed someone hat into the crowd, and nut tapped someone. They also had two autograph sessions. To get access, you had to show up about 2 hours ahead to get an entry ticket to the session. There were no 8X10s either. You had to bring something to sign. So, it was either something you brought onboard, something you bought while onboard, or use the free program book. Sharmell is still gorgeous as ever. I took a picture with Ric Flair. They were pushing people through so fast, that in my picture I’m not even facing the camera, lol. Throughout the cruise you would see the wrestlers all throughout the boat. Justin Roberts, MVP, Jake Hager, Marco Stunt, Joey Janella, Marcus Quinn from Private Party, Hangman and Scorpio Sky were always out. I took a picture with Hangman and he was lit. Lol. I was drinking gin and juice and he was telling me all bout how that was Private Party’s finisher. I met MVP and asked him who brought up the idea of using Silkk the Shocker for his theme. He said he hates that song and it was a Vince idea. Vince said “it was good shyt”. Lol. I talked to Jake Hagar; he gave me the impression that he was done fighting in Bellator. He said his main focus is AEW. When you get paid to just stand there the whole time, you can’t blame him for not rushing back into the cage. Overall all the wrestlers were very friendly. Someone on the cruise heard that Jericho was ripping into the talent due to some of them being jerks to the fans. He said the fans are the reason you are here and show respect to them. Also, Jericho had his entire family on the cruise. Hate to destroy the joke for a week
Overall it was a good time. If you’re a smark, I say this is definitely an event you should go to at least once. I would definitely consider going next year. If you have any questions, let me know and I'll shoot you an answer.
