He isn't seeing Chris on stage though. Usher is a better so singer that's about it. I agree with Wacky D about the production team. You see how Usher fell off when he stopped working with Dupri.

A singer needs good songs period. There are only a select few that can make some bullshyt sound dope.:yeshrug:

When Usher was 24 he had released confessions and was a certified legend, meanwhile Chris Brown is still grinding out there and dropping occasional hits from mediocre albums. Chris Brown best album was FAME (that album was dope) then fortune drooped and it was bad to mediocre. The guy needs to have that album, Usher had it, MJ had it RKelly had it come on Chris give us that album. He does definitely need a strong team behind him as his sound now is whack and just to popish.

yea musically BECAUSE OF JERMAINE DUPRI.

thats the whole point of what i was getting at cannon.

talent-wise, usher doesnt hold a candle to chris brown. i called this way back, when i heard his 1st album. you might even remember it. i said, chris was a super-producer or super-team away. he never had either. i dont think he ever had a main producer or team behind him period.

No not solely because of Jermaine Dupri, Usher is a talented individual and that nikka can sing, he also brought that whole new age dancing, rnb singer thing to the forefront. Think about it all these young guys are emulating him even Chris Brown was on that young Usher shyt when he dropped but his since branched out.

His major point is that Chris Brown is only 24 years old........he is actually 25 btw. Guess what age Pac died? And he accomplished 20X what Chris Brown did and pac only did it in 5 years, AND he was locked up for a year. Chris brown is a pop singer, i dont even see how the comparison is relevant. Pac was a revolutionary. Only thing Breezy revolutionized is autotune singing and blonde hair dye (not really actually)
this about sums it up

usher didnt bring anything to the forefront. he was just a low-budget/friendly version of bobby brown. and he wasnt even the most talented dancing singer of his time.

and the proof is in the pudding. everything usher did before & after JD was a flop.

usher is an average singer at best. no serious & seasoned r&b fans listen to him for his vocals. we just like the songs. i mean, dont get it twisted, hes very talented as an entertainer. he can dance & perform his ass off, his star-power is thru the roof and he sings GOOD ENOUGH.

these young guys are emulating him because they dont know any better. theres a reason why all the usher fans that are anywhere near his age bracket are usually just chicks that grew up on him when they were horny ass females(some still are)

C'mon man there is nothing new about what Usher and Chris are doing. They are extensions of Mike who is a hybrid beastmode version of Jackie Wilson and James Brown. The best Chris and Usher can do is try not to fukk up a golden blueprint and release dope music :myman:

dr. dre. him and em have a diss track towards JD on the Eminem Show

lol.

dr dre should be the last person to criticize somebody for how they got their sales.

JD's resume is more impressive actually. maybe not quite yet back then tho.

this was one of the biggest chump moves ever. i never took xzibit seriously after that.

remember when snoop sonned xzibit & dr dre over this?:pachaha:
