Great thread. I need to revisit it when I have more down time. A few years ago, on another site, I made a thread about how underappreciated J.D. is, and how heavily he was involved in a lot of great r and b as well as rap/hip hop. Sadly, morbidly, I thought he wouldn't be appreciated until he was gone, so I'm really glad to have found this post.

What's his best song? Always Be My Baby? That shyt is just impeccably composed. From the verses to the hook and bridge. Where the Party At is probably second for me.
