I don't know how true this particular story is, but celebrities used to catch bad ones all the time before social media. And sometimes, it only stayed locally and didn't go nationally. I remember Ice Cube back int eearly 90s got hit in the head with a bottle here in NC on stage. Back in the 80s, my family watched wrestling heavy on saturdays. Roddy Piper came here to Raleigh, and maybe he was acting tough, but got stabbed up here as well. These events have came out nationally over the past few decades, but at one point, they were local and huge. For every Roddy Piper/Ice Cub story that eventually makes it national, there is a story about some rappers getting fuked up and everything is kept quiet about it. So I don't know if it's true or not, but a mfer being on tv doesn't not eliminate them from getting their azz whipped in the street.
