CB first album is a personal fav of mine and some of JD team (B Cox) worked on that album

CB with JD would be fire. He don’t really have projects where they were hemmed pretty much by the same team. His production be all over the place and he would rather put all 40 songs he recorded out than pick the best 16

CB with JD beats and songs written by ppl JD associate with like B Cox, the jagged edge twins and dvsn would go crazy

I completely understand what JD was trying to say with his quote he just exaggerated a little bit

A thread full of cats who have NO IDEA about the impact and influence that Thriller had, yet in here downplaying the album like it can easily be done again. :russ:

This site is somethin' else....
Dudes been trying hard to give CB the Michaël title since 2011 and no it would be a great project but people really telling on themselves believing it will be Thriller. JD is dope but he no Quincy Jones at all.

Usher is in an entirely different league, bro.

It's not even close. Look at the catalogues.

I REPEAT, Chris brown is MORE TALENTED than Usher.

Nobody said anything about catalog, and usher's catalog aint even like that. He had a nice run off a few albums

Funny thing is, the guy who is largely responsible for usher's success, is telling you that he could go to a higher level with Chris brown.

SMH.

We got people on here who missed a good two decades of golden era R&B.

It's wild.

No bro.

I been into r&b since the 80s.

Youre the one falling for the hype. 😆
