I always thought it was NBC that canned his show but check out this interview he did with the breakfast clubWatch from 27:34 to about 30:25
Yea he was mad that NBC pulled a few episodes including one that had to do with a mass shooting. Plus he was worn out from all the work he had to do and felt unappreciated by the network because they kept fukking with the episode orders
