Would love background on the Rico Gucci coat. Also I saw on Dapper Dan's IG that he has worked with 3 generations of Combs men- Melvin, Sean, and Justin- info on Melvin would be interesting. He thanked Floyd May for 16 yrs of loyalty for letting him design his boxing shorts for all his fights. I thought that was super cool of Floyd. This movie should be dope, especially since Dapper Dan is a producer. Dude is very particular about details and is 100% about the culture. Im excited!

I knew nothing about dude going in, I just saw a black comedian on HBO and gave it a shot.

Turned it off 20-30 mins in, dude wasn't funny, poorly copied Dave Chappelle's mannerisms and delivery, and like I said came of as a nikka that tried hard to establish that he's an '''enlightened negro".

The interview Jerrod Carmichael did with Tyler The Creator gave me a new found respect for him but I'm still not sure about him doing a Dapper Dan biopic. We'll see.

Back when I first saw him on YouTube doing impressions of Dipset and making fun of them he was alright. Then I saw a few more of his impressions and was . But even then a few of his impressions were being done better by other people.

Fast forward a few years and he landed the SNL gig. He started exposing himself as a one trick pony who is garbage outside of impressions. Couldn't believe he got his own show But wasn't surprised that shyt got canceled with the swiftness


Dude really holds himself up in a class with the legends if you listen to his breakfast club interviews.

He got the coveted 5 bin rating from The Source though
