Steve Young's comments were actually from a place of experience, he spoke about how he himself benefited from watching the backup just run the offense instead of trying to freestyle and make 1000 adjustments at the line like you're superman.

Jerry's just talking to talk per usual, he knows how to keep the circus on the front page

Yeah it's pretty obvious what Steve was saying, it's just the way he worded it is going to rub people the wrong way. Sometimes nyggas do too much and need to get back to basics.

This is with anything in life. You can become so experienced in one area, learn all the ins & outs, etc and just start doing way too much.

So. Cal
In the game against the bengals, the first 2 drives were scripted.

After that, the offense didn’t do shyt. He had at least 3 interceptions that were dropped.

The final drive was a 2 minute drill and required a 50 yard field goal attempt. If not for the defense, they lose.

Rush is an average backup. Backups are suppose to be able to win a few games. That’s what they’re on the team for.

This is nothing more than an in the moment hot take. If finding a QB was that simple, they wouldn’t have paid Dak in the first place.
Well thank god Dak wasnt apart of that 2 min drill. We all know how he handles those situations

Dak, request a trade bruh.
Nah. Dak will have no problem getting his job back when healthy. When healthy is key though, because if he rushes back - or if the org rushes him back - and he struggles, this will become an issue. Any type of hand injury/surgery can fukk up a QB and increase your INTs. If I'm Dak I want Cooper to win as many games as possible so I can heal up without being pressured to rush back to the team. Jerry did him no favors by upping the return timeline for no feasible medical reason.

And yes, Steve Young is a fukking idiot and you know what this is about.... :mjpls:
