Angry about the Bulls` failure to trade for Walter Davis...

"Angry about the Bulls` failure to trade for Walter Davis, Michael Jordan said it was ``the same old stuff`` after learning Davis had been dealt to Portland.

He added that if he were general manager, ``The Bulls would be much stronger.``

Jordan, who always is asking the Bulls to trade for former North Carolina players, was asked what other acquisitions he`d make."

Walter Davis was one of Michael Jordan's favorite players growing up.

I wonder why no one is responding to these 2 posts :jbhmm:

Krause is trying to take all the credit as usual for building those Bulls teams. He's trying to make it seem that MJ was a good boy and never trashed him. He was always on that "organizations build championships" mindset. Anyone who grew up during WGN, Prime MJ knew he was always complaining about management...

Yet Michael got kucoc..Rodman....

Guess he still got that championship team he needed after the first many failures
Normally you give the team more credit, but in Jordans case? He alone was enough, he was too clutch. If he didn't taste 2yrs off, they win 10 straight titles and I HATED the bulls. Never bought a pair of Jordans in my life... He the goat tho

Jerry Krause joins Woj — The Vertical Podcast with Woj

“I’ll say this about him, he never came to me and asked for other players. He never came to me and asked me to draft a player. He never came to me to ask me to trade for a player. Never once did that happen. Part of it was he thought he was so darn good he thought he could win without them, I’m sure of that…Michael was smart enough to understand the organization and he understood what we had to do as an organization…He never complained to me.”

there was no team like the warriors back then :francis:

there were barely any teams with two legit all-star players, let alone two superstars, and two all-stars
