That said, I've been noticing that a rather McCartheyist vibe around "All Lives Matter". The phrase itself is true and rather innocuous however since idiots have used it to go against it's actual meaning in order to service their agenda (much like Christianity and Islam and the founding ideals of this country among many other things) it's become this "gotcha" game where the moment a person says "All Lives Matter" it's
"we got another one
". Anybody can say anything, it's what they actually do that matters. If you say "Black Lives Matter" but you don't take care of your black kids or you are actively harming other black folks what does that really mean? Conversely if you say "All Lives Matter" but you actually live up to what that should mean does that really mean you are a c00n? People give too much power to statements, especially those that lack full context.
