Breh I grew up watching Rice. It didn't matter if his QB was a 4 ft midget with one leg. Rice would put up numbers......that is why every time his QB went down he still put up dope as numbers.

Many argued when rice was in college that his QB at Mississippi Valley should have went to the NFL (he ended up going to the CFL) just off the fact with Rice he was putting up all time NCAA records.

Young and montana were great players but they sure as hell would not been as good without throwing to number 80 Jerry fukking rice.

My favorite memory of Jerry Rice was when Terrell Owens hijacked his last game in San Francisco and caught 20 passes.

Wasn't nobody talkin about no Jerry Rice with his pushed back braids.

I know a lot of folks want to say Randy Moss was the greatest they've ever seen, but the more I look back at it, I think him and Jerry were equal.

When Mauce was on, he no doubt looked better than Rice.

However, Revis was kind of right about him. Once you take away what he does best, he shuts down. Saw the same thing when he played against the Chargers and Giants in the AFCCG and Super Bowl when New England was blasting through everybody. What makes Jerry better and would probably have done better vs Revis is the fact that he'll find other ways to beat the coverage on every single down.

Things are working: Randy Moss
When things get rough: Jerry Rice

Moss is my boy, he isn't in Jerry's class. period.
You want a nikka who will only run fly routes and doesn't want to go across the middle get Moss.
You want a man who can run every route in the book, take whatever you give him and eat you alive, there is Rice.
IMHO

I think TO and Moss are pretty close, which is saying something when you consider how bad TOs hands were, just think of what TO could have accomplished if he was a good catcher

Just imagine him in this era and how crazy some of his numbers would be. Cause even now with teams passing more then ever his records are some that will take a long time to be broken if ever. Rice is one of the greatest PLAYERS ever not just receivers and his longevity impact and dominance will always stand the test of time.
