I slept on EK at first. Son is one helluva writer. Does take some time to get used to the voice but he is pretty dope. Jerry was cool but had a few lines that fell flat for me. Overall, EK 2-1. I see him battling Th3 Saga or someone in another PG or smaller room battle. Hopefully, this will get another West Coast event poppin for URL.

Jerry Wess reminds me in a way of Danny.. Just a more focused attack and better delivery, if I'm being honest. His bars are actually damn good, not just "ok" like most super aggressive dudes.
Emerson has that Trez issue, maybe worse. The bars are definite, the voice takes power away from the overall. He can probably work on it by being one of the calm, break-you-down type battlers.
Overall Grade: B+. I'll be checking heavy for Wess and I can see EK being dope in the right matchups (B Dot). Wess got this one on first watch.

Yoooo my nikka I totally agree. Wess reminds me of a New York version of Myers. His punch and delivery style is similar to Myers'.

this battle was dopeI got EK winning this 3-0. His style is a more polished and he had a lot of more refined punchlines. JW is dope but the WGH style grates on me after a while.
