Wow, what a shame. Def one of the notable schools during my time in JC, for academics and sports.

Hell, Jersey City changed a lot throughout the years. Looks like one can add St. Anthony's closure to that change now.

Damn, another Catholic school in NJ closing. As someone that went to one and that almost closed down recently, sad to hear. But, charter schools are the new thing which I'm not ok with.

Damn this is sad if you grew up in the NY tri-state area hooping you definitely know about the St Anthony's.They sent many players D1 and a few to the league but never had a NBA superstar that could come back and bless them with a big donation.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Kyrie Irving do a lot for St Patrick's. If Bobby Hurley would have been able to have a long and successful NBA career I'm pretty sure he would have kept this school running. Sad day for jersey city.

true, St. Pats never had the volume as St. Ant's but they had some big stars. they tried alot of tactics to keep it up but guess it came up short

growing up in jerz,,,, that was that school for ballin.... them cats used to dominate the whole state.... I followed them when they had both Hurley Brothers, Jerry Walker, Terry Dehere, Rashown McCleod, and them cats, and at one time they had big azz Luther Wright, before he transfered to Elizabeth
