As a New York I can’t tell you I can tell Jersey and NYC apart especially since both have many micro dialects. But I can hear a Philly person from across the street.

This is like saying New Orleans and Dallas nikkas sound the same
I read this bullshyt in a "Jersey" accent
Whatever the hell that means :hhh:

New York brehs sound like Jersey brehs...if Jersey brehs had the personality of Ray Lewis or a southern Baptist preacher.

With NYC brehs, t's like a conviction and passion for whatever the hell is coming out of their mouth. Like motivational speakers and shyt.
NYC nikkas will argue you about some bullshyt they can be dead wrong about but make you look like you’re the one whose not all the way up there, mad annoying :martin:

Absolutely. nikkas from jersey got a completely different vernacular.

A better question would be can ppl from the boroughs tell each other apart by accent. I can always tell when someone is from brooklyn (son).
I can tell a Bronx accent. It has a bit of a Spanish twang to how they speak, even the Black women there.
