Yeah,somewhat. It had already been renewed for a 3rd season and they were filming the season, prior to the Netflix/Marvel deal ending. They could have just waited to drop the announcement after the season aired, but everyone knew what was up once all the other Netflix Marvel shows got canceled

It probably means S3 won't end on a cliffhanger, which is a good thing, given the circumstances.

The actress that plays Jessica is hella pregnant..
So they must have either shot season 2 and 3 at the same time or after the last season of Iron Fist..
