once just once i want to see this brat behind a bad oline. tom brady has an elite oline his entire career, it's amazing.
You are witnessing it as we speak. Brady has been sacked 13 times in the last 3 weeks. Add to that his 3 main wide-outs are all in the top 6 in drops. Matter of fact, before today's game, Dobson, Tompkins and Edleman have 17 drops between them, lol.

Now, that can't explain away all his poor throws. He is a QB who has built his entire career on timing, so with the full suite of new targets, he's not comfortable with the timing and its showing in his lack of execution.

Now, that being said, it's physically impossible that all of these bad throws are his receivers faults.

I think between the lack of cohesion with all the new receivers, plus the rather poor O Line play, makes him press. Pressing Brady is not very pretty. You could see him press late in the 4th when he was firing rockets as hard as he could into small ass windows that were two doors down from the house he should have been aiming for.

He should know better.

i'm sorry dude but if you think this is a bad oline then you need to watch more football around the league. what guys like romo and cutler have had to endure the last few seasons is above and beyond worse then what brady has. we're talking about errand snaps and having a defender in your lap within a second. there are no jamarcus webbs or phil costas on this line. when the patriots need a yard they can get it. bad olines are terrible in short yardage situations. brady has two good tackles and mankins in the middle. maybe welker not being there getting open quickly is making him hold on to the ball more but overall this is still a decent line. pff has them ranked 5th in the league.

They're trying to fit a square peg into a round hole with this offense. It's like they think they still have all that talent out there catching the ball. They need to adapt this offense. Run the ball more.

Their only two scoring drives came with some solid runs, then they abandon it on their next drives and we sputter out. :snoop:

Brady's inconsistency is a direct reflection of the offenses inconsistency as a whole imo. The drops, miscommunication, and timing issues are obviously major factors, but then it's like he gets antsy sometimes when he gets a guy wide open and throws a poor ball.

This oline is not getting it done in the middle this year, and they lost Wendell, who wasn't above replacement anyways.

This is certainly not the Bears O Line from 2012, but its not as good as it has been for sure.

Brady is still amongst the best in the league in getting the ball out of his hands. He's just faced some good defensive lines three straight games.

That is true, but plays are being left ALL over the field. This team has averaged liek 35 points a game since 2007. This shyt, watching dudes drop balls all over the place, or then Brady over or under throw them every time they don't drop it is mad frustrating to watch.
