With a defense that good (it's only gonna get better when arguably it's biggest impact player last season is set to return with no health concerns whatsoever) and a strong running attack, they should be able to hang with just about any opponent. The Philly game had a lot of tough variables (playing on short rest, Ivory and Decker sat out with Revis playing hurt and special teams combined with a bad TO for 14 of the points given up in a game they lost by seven) but overall, this is a team that you shouldn't really underestimate. They've got a pretty good shot at making the post season and that defense means they'll be a tough team, the QB situation makes them beatable but they should at least be a tough out.

I'm pretty sure you'll hear sports talk radio come here and make a post saying otherwise, but until he's removed, opposing teams will always have a chance vs. Jets as he will keep them in it with his errant throws.

He's better than Sanchez was. This defense probably isn't quite as good as the 09 version, but if we make the playoffs they can do some damage if the cards fall right.

This defense is built really well for today's nfl.
Jets have probably the best slot comer in NFL in Buster Skrine and their D-Line, unlike other teams have guys who can be moved from the 1 to the 5 technique. Really dynamic combination between their line and secondary.

I remember when Fitzmagic took the Bills to a 5-0 season start, they gave him a big ass contract extension. Didnt work out so well, I hope my boy from the Texans Macagnan doesnt make the same mistake.

The great thing about Gailey's system is that it doesn't require a lot of risky and complicated throws. There are so many inaccurate intermediate throws Fitz routinely misses that can keep a drive active. Devin Smith looks like a good one in the making but is too fast for Fitz arm.
