Agreed. I have to think they have 2 QBs that they like and know one of them will be there at 3. Almost certain those 2 QBs are Allen & Rosen.

They won't get shyt for mccown or Bridgewater.we did the same with carson wentz... (25m in cap space for bradford and chase daniel just to trade up and draft wentz)
then we ended up trading bradford for a first rounder anywaybut it can work out
if rosen somehow falls to 3, theyll be fine

lol i was gonna say, 1 is pushin 40 the other has 1 leg. if you combined the 2 like an AniMorph they could be worth a 2nd but not as separate people

they probably have a guy in mind though. I'm just looking at it from what I prefer. If their guy if Allen, for example, well they're guaranteed to get him now barring the Giants moving down.
At 6, you would have been less certain about who your QB is AND you would have passed up better value at other positions to do so which is not something Maccagnan likes to do.
The Jets did a lot in free agency to soften the blow of losing 2 useless 2nd's. I wanted Nick Chubb or Sony Michel with one of the 2nd's but with Isaiah Crowell and Bilal Powell here, they can afford to wait a year. I wanted a TE, but they don't value that position at all. I wanted a pass rusher, but I'm sick of this team burning so much draft capital on defense when it's still trash. We coulda used another CB, but the Jets signed the biggest CB name on the market and brought back Claiborne. Our secondary is much improved. The Jets still ain't gonna be shyt for a while and whoever they pick won't play next year, but now we're all-in on a QB that will define this regime once and for all.
