Unless we get “our guy”. If in the next two - three seasons we have our own Brady/Rodgers/Wentz/whoever then it wasn’t all bad. I personally hope they go for Rosen. And then fukking protect the kid.

See, I get why you’d feel this way, but I’m tired of drafting defense in round 1. I don’t want this offseason where they had $100 mil in cap and now a top 3 pick and they come back with no future QB. I’m tired of drafting these defensive lineman who can’t rack up sacks and wind up like Leo. I’m tired of these defensive coordinator turned head coaches who need a first rounder at every position on defense instead of being able to find gems late who can contribute. Chubb could turn out amazing and I think he might be, but this team can’t keep wasting everyone’s time with these failed promises at QB.

I fukks with Chubb and Nelson and Barkley and any other year, fine. If they take them though, it’s another year where we have no hope at the position that forever holds this team back.

In mid March? This trade is as dumb as it gets. Unless the team has thru the roof graded on 3 qbs, which in this class of mediocre qbs would totally be Jets like I guess, this move when you’re not already on the clock is pointless at an extremely high cost

If you don’t think these QB’s are gonna potentially save this team that’s fine, but then tell the fans you’re wasting everyone’s time.

If the Bills don’t trade up to 12, the Jets don’t make this move. Clearly they’re worried they’ll get jumped by the Bills or Dolphins. They coulda been cool at 6, but if everything goes wrong and you take a wack QB just cuz that’s all that was left, you can’t justify that. If you pass up a QB altogether and you don’t win next year, you can’t justify that either. Mac lost any leash he had with Hackenberg.

Not a fan of the trade because it seems just like a Tanny move (not seeing the big picture and looking for a home run). If they get the right guy, Mac will look like a genius and people will forget about Hack and the 2nd Fitz year.
