It seems like alot to give up but that's what you got to pay to move up that high in the draft. :yeshrug:

Wow. Jets fans gotta hope this pans out. That’s a lot of value to give up for 3 spots and in draft.

49ers traded ONE second-round pick for Jimmy Garoppolo. The Jets just traded three second-round picks to move up three spots for the honor of ensuring they can spend their first-round pick on the draft class's THIRD best quarterback.

New England wasn’t gonna give us Garoppolo for just a 2nd though.

And who do you think are the three best QB’s?

Three 2nd rounders to move up three spots...:gucci:

If they finally wind up with a franchise QB it will be worth it but we all know they won't because they're the fukking Jets...

Probably going to to take Allen/Rosen or draft Saquon if he falls to 3...

If they whiff on this pick that's another 5 years of ineptitude guaranteed...

You can't say this. How do you or anyone know who the best QB's in this draft are going to be? Lets say the Jets did this to ensure that they get Mayfield (if they feel he's the best of the group) .. does that make him the third best?

I like my boys being aggressive. It's better than standing pat and doing nothing. I agree that it seems like a bit much to give up, to move up three spots, but I'm giving management the benefit of the doubt. I like all the moves they've made this offseason. We'll see what happens with this pick.

While you can't predict who the better QB will be this type of aggressiveness is retarded...

If they simply tanked the fukking season like everyone and their mother was expecting the morons to do we wouldn't of needed to trade up...

This is why this team is a perennial loser, they stay doing things backwards...

Guaranteed to be miserable for the next 5 years minimum if they don't hit on this pick...

For the record I like Darnold over Rosen/Allen...

It's Rosen. He's the best QB.

What a stupid trade for the Jets. I'm gonna assume this isn't coming from the GM btw. This is something only a stupid owner would do...and we know the Jets got one.

If your mom had a dikk, she'd be your pops. C'mon fam. They see a QB (or QB's) that they like, and they're going for it. Nothing is guaranteed when it comes to the draft. You call it retarded aggressiveness, and that's fine. That's your opinion. I'm just glad they're showing balls. Only time will tell whats gonna happen here.

shyt, you may be right. We could very well bomb this pick and it'll set us back. You just don't KNOW.

As for Darnold over the others... you're on your own there too fam. Darnolds a turnover machine. No thanks.

I like Darnold the best...

Kid has that Rodgers/Marino release and can make all the throws...

The ball jumps out of his hand like a dart and he looks like a Rodgers carbon copy when on the move...

Darnold makes plays with the pocket collapsing and scrambling which is something your rarely see from Rosen...

A QB that can make plays on the move IMO is a better fit for a team with a rebuilding Oline...

Rosen is more accurate and has a better IQ. Darnold is a marino type that can throw but he'll take unnecessary hits a la Andrew Luck and unnecessary picks. Both are great imo but Rosen will be a little better.
Agreed on him being the best QB.. but can he stay healthy? Can we keep him upright?
Fix the O-Line imo. His line was crap that's why he got hurt.
