Did these guys ever get a fair shot? I remember like yesterday these guys were the talk of their drafts and here we are again.

Rosen is more accurate and has a better IQ. Darnold is a marino type that can throw but he'll take unnecessary hits a la Andrew Luck and unnecessary picks. Both are great imo but Rosen will be a little better.

Fix the O-Line imo. His line was crap that's why he got hurt.

Darnold had a better comp % than Rosen in college, people just knock him because of the odd throwing motion.

Favre didn't have a high football IQ and nor did Marino for that matter, they're both in the HOF...

and on your point about the Oline, the Jets Oline is in rebuild mode...If Rosen's body couldn't handle taking bumps in college how is he going to handle it in the NFL?

Anyways I am about 90% sure we are going to get stuck with having to choose between Allen/Mayfield/Saquon at 3...

We won't have a shot at Darnold if the Browns take Rosen...The Giants are not a stupid organization like the Jets, if they're going to take a QB its going to be Darnold...Have him learn behind Eli for a year to strengthen his IQ and then unleash Rodgers2 on the league...

Darnold is legit though, makes mistakes and needs to sit for a year to iron that out but groomed properly you can easily see him being Rodgers-esque carving up secondaries...

Let's be honest. The Jets had to move up into the top 3 by any means neccessary. They were pretty active in free agency knowing that they were going to trade up somehow. But the Jets could not move forward without picking one of the top 4 QBs (ideally Rosen or Allen).

Was it expensive? Yes but the fanbase would have revolted if they didn't at least shoot their shot. I don't care for the move but it had to be done.

Use 25m in cap space for Bridgewater and mccown and 3 2nd round draft picks to get the 3rd best QB in the draft

True. I think he can pass for 5000 yards a couple times, and Hue knows offense (although he won't call plays) But the throwing motion needs to be refined.
