I understand the stalemate. I understand why the jets don't want to pay him, but I understand why Fitz thinks he's worth more than 7 a year, with Osweiler just getting 18 per. But Fitz is an old journeyman, he's not going to get the same benefit of the doubt as a young upcoming QB.

The funnier part is the fact that there are Jets fans clamoring for us to draft Paxton Lynch next month. So much that they want us to take him at 20.

Yet he's very much behind when it comes to being knowledgeable. It's being reported his draft interviews have been less than favorable, and that he's much further behind in the X's & O's department than the rest of the QBs in the draft. In fact he's a quote I found on Lynch

According to sources, his head coach Justin Fuente said that Lynch needs to mature on the field with his football I.Q. and needs to mature off the field to handle being a franchise quarterback. Fuente coached Andy Dalton at TCU, and he told NFL evaluators that Dalton was far ahead of where Lynch is coming out of college.

Jets met with Lynch at the combine. Plus I've seen many analysts/writers/pundits mocking him to us in the draft, He's definitely an option for us

I only post such sentiments in response to the current racial climate, but even if I do, that doesn't change the fact that fans are biased for and against Geno/Fitz and Petty because of color. The Jets forums on the net are full of and I clap back.
