I never understood the hype behind this chic. She can't really sing and I hate how production nowadays hides the obvious and what passes for R&B nowadays. The dope R&B is slept on all the time. This is way too damn long IMO and all of it sounds like one long song.

Best song on the album, only one that really stood out to me on my listen. Definitely a keeper

I fukk with her music but this album is pretty one note, which I'd be fine with because I fukk with that spacey mellow tone a lot. Overstimulated used the vibe well, problem is the rest of the album she just didn't do her thing.

She despite her lack of range as a singer she does have a lot as a writer. execution was just bad this time around. The song with her daughter was hella cringe lowkey

I'mma give this another spin. It's not like she's outside her lane, this was just a miss.

i fukk with jhene, yea some of it gets repetitive, but it's also an album you can just let ride. but i really enjoy chill music so it works for me.
