Exactly. You can't demand the smoke, entertain it, then backtrack after the backlash on some holier than thou shyt

"Yall just wanna see blood :mjcry:"

Who? Nikka like you, just a couple months ago :dahell:

he engaged what he thought was a rap beef, got wind of real issues (from Kennys camp) and bowed out.

like i said this isn't a culture that has pride in maturity. take that how you will. all that fake posturing people feel the need to do is just projecting.

not liking the song has no bearing on not liking his decision.

now had he fought with Drake against Kenny y'all would be saying he was Drake's pawn and he should have let him fight his own battles.

let's pretend otherwise :comeon:

glad everything worked out the way it was supposed to and he got out the way.

Kennys camp said there were no real issues. At least thats what Kenny said on Euphoria.

But you are correct, the battle people were waiting to see was Drake and Kendrick.

J Cole in this battle would be like if in the Batman Vs Superman movie,Blue Beetle shows up to fight Superman because he got a problem too:mjlol:

I know the move hurt his fans more than anything. This was his chance to show he was on Drake and Kendrick level. Doesnt have the acclaim and doesnt have the hits, but he couldve had this battle:francis:

He essentially decided to tell his critics "you know what yall right,im not on their level, let me fall back:whoa:"

I 100% agree with that statement and applaud his self awareness. His fans will just have to find a way to cope with the truth.

again…look at the First Person Shooter lyrics. This is ALL J Cole’s fault. Drake is only guilty of having the song on his album. Cole BEGGED for smoke .

Time only moves forward. He should have not replied instead of backtracking.

That backtrack bled all of his support and credibility.

Then this dude had the nerve to hope out there apologizing to Drake. Its …just insane..
